In-Service Training
Interested in offering Imagination Yoga at your facility? Here are three great ways.
Imagination Yoga - Learning through play
Two hour class teaches developmentally appropriate Imagination Yoga poses for children ages 2-3. We focus on opportunities for teachers to capitalize on moments throughout the day to integrate physical activity and imagination in their classrooms and inspire kids to move. We review the NASPE recommendations for physical activity for the age group, as well as the physical, cognitive, social/emotional, language benefits of Imagination Yoga. The teachers will leave the in-service inspired, with 15 yoga poses to take back with them to begin integrating immediately in their classrooms, as well as ideas for games and activities to further integrate the new concepts.
Yoga mats are provided during the in-service and reference handouts are provided (includes all covered material, photos of poses and descriptions)
Training qualifies for Oregon
Registry credit (Learning Environments and Curriculum).

Imagination Yoga - Inspired movement Everyday!
Two hour class teaches developmentally appropriate Imagination Yoga poses for children ages 2-12. We focus on opportunities for teachers to capitalize on moments throughout the day to integrate physical activity and imagination in their classrooms and inspire kids to move. We review the NASPE recommendations for physical activity for the age group, as well as the physical, cognitive, social/emotional, language benefits of Imagination Yoga. The teachers will leave the in-service inspired, with 12 yoga poses to take back with them to begin integrating immediately in their classrooms, as well as 1 Imagination Yoga Adventure they can introduce to their classroom.
